Last weekend, I met up with Elaine from Pretty in White to do; what else but discuss about the possibility of making me my dress. I brought some pics of dresses that i like, and tried on several dresses just to see which cut suits my body shape. She said my body could fit into virtually any dress, but i guess you need to flatter your potential client. I've been going through so much wedding dresses online and in magazines that its just not fun anymore. Its been to the point where i don't just get all giddy looking at pretty dresses; instead i note down the neckline, waistline, fabric, embellishments...etc. With the wedding getting closer, and the prospect of me leaving for Melb inching closer. I feel that by this month should be about right when it comes to starting on the dress. Don't ask me why I'm not getting a dress in Melb. I doubt you can get your custom dress done for under RM2k. Can you? The pictures featured in this post are a brief compilation of certain dress elements that i like and will be incorporating them into my dress. I just hope my 'frankenstein' of a dress will turn out fab. I made another appointment this weekend to meet up with dressmaker no.2 of a different bridal shop. Get my quote from him and then make my decision between these 2. Must. Get. Dress. Done. 4.14.2008
