Sunday morning Lacey

I have reason to believe Lacey is a poodle who used to be either a cat or a bird in her past life. She has this odd habit of perching on her favorite spot on top of the couch that looks out into the front lawn. Sometimes I'd sit with her and stare outside as well. She doesn't mind the company.

And I'll ask her if she sees the same things as me, and she'd sigh, probably contemplating about how I can't just shut up and stare out silently like she does. Sometimes i ask her where's rabbit? We used to have a rabbit. Don't ask me why i don't have it now. She would perk up and look out intently, daring rabbit to come into her well watched over territory.
I don't have the heart to tell Lacey that her ass is hanging out all over the couch for the world to see and that her powder puff of a tail needs a little bit of brushing. Sometimes she adopts a fancy ballerina leg pose. Just because she can.
When she's tired from all that staring out the window, cause goodness knows that it takes a lot of hard work to put that much focus into looking out. She'll turn around primly, without falling off her perch. And take a nap, until something interesting catches her attention again.

She looks so exhausted sometimes that i can't help but give her an appreciative scratch on the back. Just to let her know that all her hard work this morning was very well appreciated. Plus, i like the way my ring sits neatly on my finger in this picture. Which is why i'm posting it up. Just because. It rarely sits so nicely as it tends to lean on the left a little most of the time.
Lacey couldn't agree more. As you can see the look of approval on her face. And she's telling me that this has been a busy Sunday morning for her. With all the staring out the window and the belly rubs and cuddles she has to deal with this morning. Not to mention my incessant need to capture her adorable moments on camera.

Dress me up!

Last weekend, I met up with Elaine from Pretty in White to do; what else but discuss about the possibility of making me my dress. I brought some pics of dresses that i like, and tried on several dresses just to see which cut suits my body shape. She said my body could fit into virtually any dress, but i guess you need to flatter your potential client. I've been going through so much wedding dresses online and in magazines that its just not fun anymore. Its been to the point where i don't just get all giddy looking at pretty dresses; instead i note down the neckline, waistline, fabric, embellishments...etc. With the wedding getting closer, and the prospect of me leaving for Melb inching closer. I feel that by this month should be about right when it comes to starting on the dress. Don't ask me why I'm not getting a dress in Melb. I doubt you can get your custom dress done for under RM2k. Can you? The pictures featured in this post are a brief compilation of certain dress elements that i like and will be incorporating them into my dress. I just hope my 'frankenstein' of a dress will turn out fab. I made another appointment this weekend to meet up with dressmaker no.2 of a different bridal shop. Get my quote from him and then make my decision between these 2. Must. Get. Dress. Done.

Makeover 101

Whats up peeps! If you're a regular at this site, you prob noticed its gone through a little bit of a revamp. So tell me what do you think? My blog's asking me if she looks good. She's quite self conscious of what Mr.Internet thinks of her. Well i keep reassuring her she looks fine, and I'll prob add more embellishments on her if she's still insecure about her looks.

(Am i crazy for creating a fictional character for my blog? Heck yea.)

Psst: If i'm super bored at work tomorrow then I'll be adding links to friends that blog. If you want me to link you up. Just drop me a message. : )
